CONTAINMENT & ASSESSMENT
Stage One: Containment and Assessment
This stage is a defined, flat-fee engagement designed to determine whether a matter should proceed, how it should proceed, or whether it should proceed at all.
During this stage, your matter is reviewed in a focused and structured way to assess legal viability, evidentiary strength, proportionality, and practical enforceability. At the same time, containment and coordination support is provided to stabilize the situation while the assessment is underway. This may include identifying immediate risks or deadlines, advising on what should and should not be done at this stage, and coordinating parallel processes so that no step taken inadvertently undermines the overall position.
This stage is intentionally contained. No applications are filed, no formal positions are taken, and no escalation occurs unless and until the assessment supports doing so.
At the conclusion of this stage, a clear, reasoned recommendation is provided as to next steps: to proceed, to proceed on a limited or modified basis, or not to proceed. You retain full control over whether the matter advances beyond this stage.
No further work is undertaken without authorization under a subsequent, defined scope of services.
